Twinkie is a TOTALLY different dog! 1 Attachment(s) Twinkie had his teeth cleaned and two pulled on Tuesday. Since we brought him home he is a totally different dog! He has always had sort of a nasty Chihuahua personality but of late, he has really been bad, growling, snarling and snapping and attacking other dogs. It is so wonderful to have a happy and obviously pain free dog. I am assuming that the dental work has made the difference since nothing else has changed. We were unaware of any dental problems because we could never get his mouth open to look in without getting bitten but scheduled an appointment for surgery immediately when we realized the problem. I called my vet this AM and thanked them for what they did for Twinkie. I figured they get bitched at a lot but seldom get thanks for a job well done. I LIKE the new Twinkie!! Louise and the gang |
oh that is wonderful!!! nice of you to give kudos also!! |
So happy to hear that he is doing better after his trip to the vet! =) |

Aw...that's wonderful for Twinkie! So glad he feels like a feisty little fella again:) |
Ha ha, what a little squirt!! I'm sure that he's even happier than you are. I can't imagine that - I was in so much pain when I had to have my molar pulled. (Still upset about it...) Poor little Twinkie. He looks happy now on his comfy blanket! :) |
I’m so glad he is feeling better! Roscoe had his dental last week and had two teeth pulled. My sister has a Chihuahua named Hulk, he actually belongs to my nephew but he is a big Momma’s boy! He has to go to the vet to get his nails trimmed because he will bite if she tries to do it, it is funny because when he goes to the vet the only person he will let near him is the vet tech so my sister always has to make sure his vet tech will be there for his appointment! My nephew was a preemie (1 lb. 10 oz. 13 1/2” long) and he has medical problems and has had a few surgeries as he has gotten older, when he comes home Hulk will hardly let my sister or her husband near my nephew, I told her he is thinking “look at what you did to him!” |
