| Do anyones babies eat science diet? Mine was eating eukanuba, (and not very much of it...) and today the vet gave me a bag of science diet. Lo and behold, Cisco LOVES it!!!! Thing is, I don't know if it's a very good food- corn meal is the 1st ingredient. Should i feed this to him 'cause he loves it, or try other foods that seem to be better for him? |

| Science Diet is not the best food out there. When I first brought my yorkie home, I fed him Science Diet. I only fed him about 2 weeks and I change it to Innova. |

| same thing here I was feeding Kody Eukanuba at first and he hated it - feeding took forever and tons of encouragement. Until he basically stopped eating, I didn't take the hint that maybe he just didn't like it. He loves Science Diet (I had a sample packet for him to try) - he wouldn't even touch the Eukanuba so there was no transition. Luckily his stomach took it pretty well - he just was going out about every 2 - 3 hours for the first 2 days and then he was fine. Now, after finally doing my homework, I am switching to Innova and Wellness mix. And while he likes these, I still haven't pulled Science Diet out of the blend (so now he is on all three) because he really likes it and it has only been a few days. His stomach is doing well on all three... I do hope to pull Science Diet out of the mix soon! Good luck! |

| Most likely the reason he loves it is because, one its new, and two its most likely sprayed with rendered fat to appeal to the dogs taste. There are definitely better foods out there. You shouldnt feed a food just because the dog loves it, for the same reason you dont let a kid eat only icecream and candy.

| My vet gave me that food also. Its not one of the better foods though it has corn as a main ingredient. Some other better brands are Chicken Soup,Wellness, Natural Balance, California Natural, Innova, Canidae and others I am sure.

| I feed Little Caesars too but as a treat. You should also feed some kind of hard kibble.

| Haylee and Graff eat Science diet little bites. I know it's not the best out there but I have tried several others and they would not eat it after a few days. So for now we are staying with Science diet. They both love it and seem to do well on it. |
