| Acana and Orijen of Champion Petfoods Just wanted to share my personal review of Acana: Riley Looooves his Acana and he has Always Thrived on it. His skin looks great, fur is shiney, his energy level is great, his poops are small and firm.... he goes twice a day.... and he has very little eye gunk. [I also like how anytime I buy a bag and have Riley with me, the cashiers always comment about how well he is eating when they see what I am buying him.... ] We have switched to a different kibble a couple of times but always end up going back. We won't be switching kibble for a long time. Right now he is eating Acana/Pacific and Loving it!! Here is a video that tells about the company.... When you find something that really works for your pup, stick with it. Why try and fix it if it isn't broken? Last edited by RileyDC; 05-23-2012 at 05:33 PM. |

| I Agree... I've tried to change a few times and always get mad at myself. Acana works best for us!! Jackson does fantastic on it and I LOVE the results we've seen on the Singles line. It's his favorite, taste-wise, by far... but his poops are amazing on the lamb & apple specifically LOL. He's been eating the singles line for a bit now... we went through two bags of duck & pear, two bags of lamb & apple, one bag of burbank & potato, and now it's almost gone and we'll go back on duck & pear. Btw, they have a new website, did ya see?? www.acana.com

| Same here. I always end up back with Acana We are feeding the Lamb & Apple (pink bag) right now. They LOVE it! On our 4th bag (since recalls started). They have had the Chicken & Potato one too and liked it. Gotta try the Duck... Max has the worst time with foods (puppy mill pup). Sometimes he has issues with chicken (lose stool). He does great on Acana though. The boys are always eager to eat Acana! I gotta go look at the new site-LOL I want to add that if you can't get it in your area Dog Food - Acana - Free shipping at MrChewy.com has it and it is $4.95 shipping. Not bad because by the time I pay for gas, time and tax I could have it shipped if I wanted.

| Picked Up A Trial Size Of ACANA/Duck & Bartlett Pear Riley's ACANA/Pacific was getting low so I emailed a couple of the boutiques near my house that I know carry Acana to see if they had any of the Small Trial size bags of the Duck & Bartlett Pear. The one closest to my house had them, so I picked one up on my way home. Riley seemed to like it. He ate it all right up, plain. It only has one grain, Steel Cut Oats. I hope he does well on it!! I have been doing Nature's Variety frozen raw, organic chicken in the morning and then Acana Kibble at night and he's been doing Great!! |
