How often can I bathe Lola and how old should she be? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Lola is 10 weeks (11 weeks on Sunday) and I am wondering how often I can bathe her. Is once a week okay at this age or should it only be once a month? The breeder says bathe her rarely, maybe once a month, but I have heard from others that I can bathe her every week. TIA!

I bathe mine (one year old) every two weeks so twice a month. When she a puppy, though, I had to bathe her more often bc she had this horrible habit of pooping in her playpen and then rolling around in it.

My Romeo is almost 3 years and I still bathe him weekly. In really hot weather I bathe him more frequently. I do not let him air dry; I use a regular hair dryer on cool setting. He loves it and often falls asleep during the process.

P.S. I use both Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioner and he smells SOOOOO wonderful for days!

I give ALL my dogs bath every two weeks, babies including starting at 6 weeks old.
and if they roll in poop they get a bath too..

Avery gets a bath every week during the spring/summer. We live in South Louisiana and the heat just makes him stink (even with puppy cologne). During the winter it's only once a month.

I bathe Taycie weekly 99% of the time. The longest I have gone is 10 days but I can't go past that.
