Jackson had Lymes last year. His symptom was limping on his back leg so he experienced joint pain. It was taken care of really easily with a 30 day antibiotic and 7 days of pain meds. He was back to himself within a day of meds, actually. I think I was lucky since I caught it so early. He tested negative for lymes this year thankfully and I have been keeping up with the flea/tick meds.

I'm probably going to order from entirelypets, or see what Petsmart's prices are like.

My vet meets the price of Dr. F & S or where ever I find K9 Advantx cheaper than her.
She orders it and ships it to me with the discount.
That way I still support my smaller vet office.

Teddy is 9.5 lbs and I asked my vet what to do about next month's dosage. He said that if he's at 10-10.5 then to give him the 10lbs and under one...if he is hitting the 11lbs and up category then I need to go up in dosage...so given that your dog is a good solid 4-5lbs bigger then I would definitely suggest staying on the higher dosage.
