| Unusual toys? Do you have any unusual toys your yorkies play with? I have a couple that we only play with together. They are both puppets. They are both dogs. One barks if I move my fingers back and forth. She has more fun with these than just about any toys, other than her balls and squeaky toys, she has. We get down on the floor and play and play and play. Her tail goes 90 mph and she jumps around all over the place, runs in circles, and has a general good time. The puppet that barks does so to the tune of "How Much Is The Doggie In The Window" song.

| That puppet sounds great. Darwin and Mabel play tug of war with their pull toy, gets pretty noisy. They'll chew a nylabone that belongs to our Pyrenees cross - pretty cute considering how big it is compared to them, but they mostly play with each other LOTS! Our pyrenees cross's favourite toy is a LARGE plant pot - can't tell you how many of those things he's gone through! It's pretty intimidating to play throw the bucket, when he goes and gets it and starts heading my way - he's a really big dog. Yorkies are just the right size for me! |

| That's funny! They look like big teddy bears. Has he ever jumped on you and knocked you flat?

Harley's strangest toy is the "S" shaped tug. The only thing weird about it, is that I'm pretty sure its designed for a 60lb dog to tug... he can barely get his mouth around it, but boy does he ever love that thing.

| Uni's strange toys are usually kept out of sight. They consist of shoe insole, rubber fingertip toothbrush, and ear wax remover suction bulb thingy. You can see why I don't want her playing with these things.

| If I would let each of mine have a tissue a day to shred into the tiniest of pieces, they would be extremely happy. I have to let them do it sometimes, just because they seem to enjoy it so very much. Other than that Ben's favorite toy is a little stuffed bone that came with a Pumpkin puzzle toy (the pumpkin held 2 ghosts & the bone and the dog was supposed to try to get them out of the pumpkin -- took about 2 seconds for them to get them out of the pumpkin). But that bone is still Ben's favorite of all time toys. I guess he likes the squeak. The squirrels from the similar tree trunk with squirrels inside toy are equally fun for him but he has worn them all out save one poor mauled-looking one that no longer resembles a squirrel. That is why I think it is something about their squeakers in particular as he liked all of these toys. Sometimes I have to put the bone up as you cannot carry on a conversation when he is squeaking non-stop. He also likes the animaltronics toys that make sounds like animals, especially the monkey. But he tears them up so quickly, I have stopped buying them. I am not sure he likes them or truly detests them as he viciously tears them apart within the first few days.

| Brooklyn's favorite toys is one of my daughter's old Barbies. It's hilarious to see her happily dragging her all over the house by her hair. Her favorite thing to do is to bring it over to me and growl for me to try to take it from her. Then she runs away dragging the Barbie or either she plays tug of war with it.

| A while back my DH brought home a Mr. Bill stuffed doll. Neo plays with it , but Connor carries it around like a baby. That's alright- unless it is the wee hours of the AM and I'm woke out of a dead sleep to the sound of "Ooooo Nooooooooo" . The more he says it, the more Connor makes him say it! Quite fitting, huh? |

| odd toys Belle has an empty plastic grape juice can that I put a tennis ball in. She loves this and runs at it and picks it up and throws it in the air. You have to watch out if you are sitting on the floor or she's on the couch next to you. For some reason she thinks it is food related as when it's her feeding time, and she seems to be able to tell time, she runs and gets the can and throws it all over the kitchen. It seems like she likes home made toys best. I had a small size plastic pop bottle and put a bunch of her kibble in it and put the top on really tight. She carries that all over as it makes lots of noise, really nice when your are watching TV or trying to talk. She only has a few toys that she hasn't destroyed yet. She has 1 squeeky toy made by Hartz that she loves to squeek. It's kind of embarassing when someone is here as it's green and has like 6 ends that stick out. My DH says it looks like 6 green penises |
