| Food and weight management? My two girls were on Stella and chewys freeze dried patties for a bit. I added water to it. They weigh 2.5 lbs and the other is 3-3.5 lbs. I was giving them 1/2 a patty 2x per day. did not seem like enough so I increased it to 1 patty 2x per day per dog an dthen they got fat. I decided to try Primal and I really like it. I am feeding according to their recommendations and they both have lost weight. I increased slightly but I have not noticed much change. I worry about the high protien content and am worried about increaseing more, especially being that they are so tiny. My question is there anything else I could give them maybe around lunch time to keep weight on them without over loading them? Thanks |

| Mr. Shakespeare is 8 months and eats Stella & Chewy (1 pattie 2x a day) he weights 5.3 pounds of which he was weighingg 3.5 pounds when feeding him 1/2 pattie 2x a day. My vet said he i9is fine and should not get any more weight being his parents were 5.5 - 6.0 pounds each. What is Primal? |
