They will never receive those shots again. Especially since they are almost entirely inside dogs, and when I do take them out, they are on a leash or in my arms or in their carriage. My vet will probably NEVER vaccinate either one of them (especially Muffin) She says she will do titers, but she believes they are fine for life. I have discovered that giving shots can be a very lucrative business for Vets, and there may be some motivation there to keep the shots going. Not saying ALL vets, but my other VET, who I adored before this incident, I would never have wanted to believe this about her, maybe it is true, maybe not, but Muffin not only got the Rabies shot, but other shots along WITH the rabies shot, which can increase the chances of a reaction to 70%. :-( Last edited by broodizt; 08-14-2010 at 09:01 AM. | |
