Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Here we go again. I want to switch Brandi's food up yet again and I was just wondering what do you guys think of chicken soup. I get if for my cat and she love's it. In fact she loves it so much that it is the only cat food that she gobbles down which is amazing because my cat has always been a nibbler. Now I see it was more likely that she didn't like what I was feeding her. I was feeding Brandi Natural Balance but her stool is either firm or loose. Now with the recall of Natural Balance it is definitely time to try something else. This the third time I've switch her food. Thanks |
I feed my crew of 6 Chicken Soup and they love it! As a matter of fact, the vet suggested they may like it a little too much.... I requested my local store order the "lite" version and they've been on that for about 4 months now. Works great for us! :p |
I think Chicken Soup is just fine, except that EVERY food we've ever tried that is made by or manufactured by Diamond gives some of our dogs the most horrible gas. We have had good luck with Nature's Variety. |
Daisy Mae and our Cat are on Chicken Soup. Daisy has been on it for over a year and she loves it. I just started my cat on the canned and kibble, and she love it too. I did a lot of research on what to feed my babies, this is the one I thought was great quality. ~Kathy:animal-pa |
Baxter has been on Chicken Soup since he was a puppy. He loves it. My sister's dachsund was having serious skin issues. She switched her to Chicken Soup and no more skin issues. The closest store to us that sells it is 50 miles away so we usually coordinate buying it. Baxter had a very sensitive stomach when he was a puppy. Now he's 2.5 years and can tolerate other food some times but we are sticking with the Chicken Soup. |
Chicken soup is a good food if you can get your yorkie to eat it mine wouldnt |
I have not tried this yet. Not sure if they have this for puppies or only adult dogs. I recall trying to introduce this food for my cats and it did not agree with their stomachs. I have found a food they love..... "Instinct" cat food. There is this same brand for dogs. Not sure if they have this one for puppies. I have done ALOT of research on cat and puppy foods. Trying my best to give the best foods for my puppies, cats and bunnies. |
Yes they do have dry food for puppies! It's called small breed puppy formula :) I had never heard of it either until today and did some research on it and it looks pretty good. My free samples are coming soon! Just go to their website Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul brand pet foods Home and request free samples :) I went to a few different places and got a few to try since I'm not sure what my furbaby will like. I'm pretty excited though! :D |
2 more Chicken Soup fans here. They have been on CS for about 4 yrs. now. My husband buys the large bags. The feed store thinks we have great danes:). My vet thinks they like it too much also. |
I used to feed Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's soul before I learned that my oldest was allergic to chicken. I don't know about the other formulas in the Chicken Soup line, but this one is an All Life Stages food so you can feed it to puppies and adults. There should be a notation about this on the packaging. |
Mine loved Chicken Soup but there was a reason I didn't feed it. I think it might have ethnoxoquin in it? |

I don't think that it has it in there? I went to their website and it said index of ingredients and this was not listed. Winnie LOVES this food. Just gave it to her last night and she gobbled it all up. I really was leaning towards Blue Buffalo though.... but maybe this is better? |

Joey wouldn't eat it. :( |
I fed this to all of mine for about 3 yrs, they all started on this as puppy\'s..it is a very good food..but after 3 yrs I guess they got board cause they lost interest in it..So now we are feeding Taste Of The Wild..it is an all life stage food which works for us since we have 4 adults and now a puppy, so I don\'t have to separate food anymore..but if my store would stop carrying the Taste of the Wild, I would go back to Chicken soup. |
