| Hard brown stuff round Ted's eyes Teddy gets this hard brown stuff in the corners of his eyes and sometimes round the rims. The vet said it is normal for Yorkies. I didn't notice it when he was young, then I needed to clean his eyes about once every two weeks. Now I have to do it every two days. I use cooled boiled water and cotton wool as advised by the vet. |

| It is fairly common for yorkies to get eye gunk. The hair tends to irritate the eye causing to water and mucous clumps. As long as your vet is not worried and its not green or any other off color which may indicate an infection.

| Our little ones get that as well. When they get their baths it usually comes clean when i comb it out. I also have calm eyes, I put it on cotton and rub it on the crusty stains. It helps alot too!

| vaseline after I bathe mine I put some vaseline under their eyes and rub it in it. works good and you can also put some on the eyes just before their bath to get it out, I also trim the hair from the corner of their eyes but I always use the vaseline, it seems to keep it from getting hard. |

| I use spa lavish facial scrub on my maltese and yorkie to wash there face every other day. So I can have a kissable face If you don't want to go through that trouble a warm washcloth should do it.
