| The marrow is easily cut out with a knife regardless if frozen or not. You can give them the bones raw, right out of the freezer, thawed, or you can even boil them first, then cool. They still won't splinter. Mine have femur bones laying around that are probably 6 months old.

This is so important. To the OP, bc you are talking about puppies - who are in the developmental stage - a balanced diet is key. An unbalanced diet at this stage, especially, can actually cause *very* serious health problems.
