| Yorkie Teeth Hi all, Just wondering how you all work on keeping your Yorkie's teeth and gums healthy...I know with small dogs it is a challenge. Oddly, my little guy Sparky LOVES his toothbrush and toothpaste -- but I have to let him chew on the toothbrush and move it around himself, or he gets angry....I usually do this once a week... He's about 8 months...and I'm noticing some dark spots on hiw gums already, so I'm very concerned...not sure what else I can do for him other than brush??? He eats a dry kibble too, cause I know that is also good for their teeth...I feed him the Innnova EVO and add a bit of the Fresh Pet Selects Chicken/Veg/Rice at night. Anyone ever deal with the dark spots/areas of the gums in a puppy? Any ideas what might be causing this? Would appreciate anyone's advice, suggestions, past experiences... Thanks all! Tania, Chewy (My mellow Lhasapoo) and Sparky (Crazy Hyper Yorkie) |
