| James Wellbeloved Not sure if this dogfood is available in the US but i assume it is. We just bought our Yorkie last week and he was on Chappie which is basically "cheap dog food" IMO. I changed him over the Wellbeloved gradually and expected a few days problems whilst he settled in but now i have had a full weeks toilet problems. I phoned the vet and they reckoned that some dogs just dont suit this type of rich food. has anyone had this experience before of having a yorkie who just doesnt suit certain food types. |

| I have never heard of that brand but there are lots of food here in the states that our yorkies don't do well on because of the corn and filler ingredients. There are lots of options on dog food. Check the ingredients and go from there. You can check previous threads about food. Just do a search for foods.

| Welcome to YorkieTalk and congratulations on your Nico! Yorkies, you will find are so much fun and are filled with personality plus! Our Toto is a little 2 yr. old girl and we have occasionally had "potty" problems for a few days upon changing her food. It is my understanding that meat should be the first ingredient listed on a good food. Also, corn and lots of "filler" is not good. If the problem doesn't resolve itself, I would ask the vet to recommend a food that might be more suitable. We had very good results with Royal Canin Yorkshire 28, but she is on a prescription diet right not because of a couple of extra pounds! Hope you enjoy it here and we look forward to hearing all about your little one and perhaps seeing pictures?

| Welcome! I love the name of that food! I have never seen it here-but I bet it would sell on the name alone, ALL of our babies are "Wellbeloved". Anyway, I agree with Bettyeanne. Sometimes it's just the change in diet and they adjust, however make sure you look at the ingredients. I bet you could definetely get Royal Canin there, my dogs have done wonderfully on it. Hope to see more posts from you!
