| fishy butt??? I know you are supposed to express glands when your baby is experiencing signs of needing them expressed like scooting across the floor. My sebastian has not been scooting. But I have noticed that his butt smells fishy. I notice this periodically from time to tme and I'm not sure what else I can do to help this problem. He just had his glands expressed about one month ago. Any suggestions?

I know there was a huge thread about this a while back. You may find it and it will answer your question. I express the glands of my furry kids every time i give them a bath. But some owners do not know how to do it. Some will say they do not need it, so you need to find out what will work best for you . or should i say, for your guy... and your nose . XOXO

| Lola our Maltese has this problem once in a while. But she is not able to express it all. So when do it ...OMG a gush comes out! So I make sure I have plenty of napkins onher butt when I do it. She does not always scoot her butt. But at least 1-2 times a month as needed. And she is not a tiny girl. She weighs around 7 lbs now Gen |

Do you do it, have the vet do it or the groomer. If you don't know how have the vet teach you how.
