| Yes, I've been rotating between the NV Instinct Rabbit (their favorite), NV Instinct Duck/Turkey and TOTW Pacific Stream. And, I've been looking for a good fourth food to add to the rotation. Now, with all the ethoxiquin uproar I'm thinking I'll have to take TOTW out of the lineup. I really like that food, too, because it's grain free & only 25% protein. I might try Innova again & see if they like it this time, or go to NV Prairie, or .... I don't know yet. It's just so hard finding a healthy food for them! I can't feed anything with chicken because of Alex's allergies so that makes it even harder.

I think the best thing you can do, or anyone really, is find a food you feel good about feeding. Start with a small bag to see if your pup likes it, if he does well on it, etc. Once you find what works, stick with it. Don't keep changing foods up on him. This may sound like it contradicts the rotation diet but it really doesn't. I buy the big bags of food so we don't rotate often, & I always add the new food in very gradually.

| You're welcome. Let me know what you decide to go with, & how it works for Peanut, ok? I'm always on the lookout for good food info!

Max is eating this and LOVES it. Nice firm poops and no issues. I like that the kibble is smaller sized. Like the size of big peas. Good ingredients by a good company. If your pups like the beef (red meat) NV Prairie has that: http://www.naturesvariety.com/prairie_dog_kibble

LOL. We love Instinct over here. It's the first food he actually likes, too so that's important to me that he enjoys it. I like that the protein is still "high" at 35% but not REALLY high at over 40%. I have not tried the Praire version yet; I wonder if he would like that one too. I'm not sure if he has an issue w/ grains or not. There's a special going on now to buy 1 bag of NV, get 1 free. So next time I go to the store, I MAY buy a bag of Instinct and then use my free one to try out the Prairie, but I'm not sure yet.

I started P on the NV Praire... He has the lamb and oatmeal.. That protein is at 26% so its still good. I got a 2nd bag free too so he has the salmon and brown rice.. I plan on waiting a couple weeks to get him use to the NV and then I will switch him between flavors

I'm going to start doing the every other bag thing too. Last month he finished off the Turkey & Duck flavor so I bought a bag of Rabbit flavor that he has yet to finish. He likes the Rabbit but not as much as he liked the Turkey & Duck. Now my question is, should I get my free bag of Prairie for him to try? Or should I just stick with getting what I KNOW he likes. I think it'd be interesting to have 3 different foods to rotate with when the bags are almost finished.
