Do Yorkies snore? I am not sure if my yorkie snores or if he is wheezing? My husband thinks that he is snoring but do dogs do this? He doesnt do it everytime he sleeps, only when he sleeps in certain positions he makes this noise that sounds like a snore... is this common or do you think he is wheezing? |
YUP!!!! My yorkie snores up a storm. She's 10 years old and has been snoring since she was about 2. Michele :-) |

Oh yes they sure do:p Some nights Buddy sounds like a fog horn but I smile knowing he's safe sleeping next to me. Only when he get's into a deep sleep does he snore and twitch too.:D |
Alfie gives out little squeeks, we think he is having dreams. Probably about rats and bones lol |

Yep, Alfie too and he's only 13 months. So funny when they dream though, love to know what its about. |

My Toby's snores can some nights rival my husband's!! And every once in awhile he has a bad dream I guess and let's out this loud, eerie, high pitched yowl. :^) |

Molly snores too. She also makes these little sucking type noises too when she's in a deeper sleep. I remember some of the dogs from my childhood on that snored too as well as twitched and made little noises while dreaming. These were chihuahuas, min. schnauzers and Irish Wolfhounds. So, I would say that all (breeds) dogs snore and make noises while sleeping/dreaming. lol :woof: |

Sweet Jesus ... do they ever!!! :) My dainty little 5 lb. diva sounds like a 100 lb. big dog! The funny thing ... she and Patrick sound like a concert! I am often wakened by the big snore followed by the little snore ... if they could just snore in unison it might help my insomnia! :sidesplt: |
Bubba snores like a man. When Bubba and dh get to snoring at the same time it's no sleep for me and Bubba like to sleep with his head on my pillow and snore in my ear. |
Keegan & Clarence snore but Keegan is much louder. I recorded Keegan's snoring on my Iphone and play it for anyone who will listen! |

Mollie Jade snores because she have a respiratory problem . Frimousse doesn't snore . |

Ours snore, makes other assorted noises, and sometimes even sounds like a goose when she is awake. She also vocalizes and has trained us in what they mean, so we can get do for her what she wants. |
