I have tried it and it made peanut have really soft food...I have tried soo many different foods you name it I tried it in the past. I finnaly found one that peanut loves and is also a great food Its called Evo red meat small bites... Tons of ytalkers on here know of great food, thats not the problem, the problem is finding a food that your furbaby does well on and will eat!!! |
sorry typo "really soft poop" |
That's what I use and my dogs do great on it! Nice coats, nice bodies! I know some don't like it, but we do really well on it! The worst my dogs and puppies ever did.. was on Eukanuba!! |
Its not one of the very best foods but its not one of the worst either. It has corn in it and some dogs like mine have allergies to corn. I dont know why they put that in there. Their other ingredients are good |
sorry guys I dont know why does "*" are in my post.....but thanks |
I'm trying to remember if you posted a while back about your guy being itchy...was that you? If yes, you *might* want to stay away from a food that has corn in it, just in case. If you don't see any evidence currently of allergies, then the food might work for you; if there is a chance of allergies going on right now, then I'd probably look for something else. |
Joey's uses it and does really well on it, he's a fussy eater, and loves this food, he has no allergies of corn, and it doesn't use the corn as the main ingredients like many foods do, and I think this is what you want to watch for, a meat source should be the first ingredient. He never has diarrhea or vomiting, and is very regular, his teeth and hair are in excellent condition, and his poop is small and firm, and never suffers from gas either. Some dogs are allergic to corn, and this may show up as excessive scratching. When you switch foods, you should mix the new food in with the old, if you switch too fast, you dog may experience diarrhea of soft poop, no matter how healthy the food is. |
I use it for all my dogs but, one....itchy skin.....she's being changed to Merrick, no wheat, no corn or by products. The rest do great on it. |
One of my friends uses it for both of her Yorkies and they love it. The vet is the one who recommended Royal Canine. |
