| I have never heard of this. But I have read that the reason why they get car sick is b/c the windows are up and they can feel the motion but don't know they are moving. Putting his face out the window with it down so they can feel (really feel) the motion helps. It has helped mine. I hope this helps you or someone else can better answer.

| My Yorkie also gets car sick... My puppy also gets car sick. No matter how short or long the ride. I spoke to the vet about it. She gave me "Cerenia". She is supposed to get 1 tablet, but I only gave her 1/2. It worked like a charm. We drove in the truck for 14 hours and no vomit!!! I wasn't thrilled to give her medication, but I didn't want to leave her home. It was great. We had a wonderful vacation and Lacie was fine the entire ride there and the ride home. No side effects when we got out to walk around she was fine. Ran around and acted normal. Food was given later on the day. "Cerenia" has to be given on an empty stomach. Even when I gave her food, no vomit. She was relaxed in the car, yet acted normal out of the car. I only gave it to her on our long trip so far took two days to get there and 2 to get home. She went for a one hour ride yesterday, no "Cerenia" and she threw up. "Cerenia" helped us on our long ride. |
