What kind of dog treats? My Pixie will not eat any of the dog treats that I have tried with her. I have bought several kinds and flavors, but she turns her nose up at them! She eats her dog food quite well( Iams small bites) but I would like to give her treats also. Any ideas??? :aimeeyork |
Lexi loves vanilla yogurt treats. I believe they are made by VitaKraft? Orange bag...and you can get them at PetSuperMarket Hugs Cheryl & Lexi:aimeeyork |
Hi! Thanks for your response. I have tried those! So far she won't eat them! I have also tried Beggin strips, peanut butter snausages . She will eat a small milkbone once in a while. Guess she's just a picky one!:p |
Jackson's pretty picky with dog treats too! He will turn his nose up to most. However, he loves chicken strips (the ones that are real chicken... they're healthy for them too!) and he loves Wellness treats (they're little square shaped, you can get them at Petco). Anything with real meat he seems to like. He loves bully sticks!!! |
Lexi is very picky too...she loves the real chicken strips too. I have a hard time just getting her to eat sometimes. I try not to stress to much anymore. Good luck hope you find something your little one likes. Hugs Cheryl & Lexi:aimeeyork |
My Yogi loves bananas (tiny bits at a time) , bil jack small liver treats, and Cesars small treats they just came out with. He loves chewy small treats and he is very picky :D |
My Chloe will eat anything, but my son's baby, Zoe, is very picky. However, they both love the peanut butter "cookies" that I make for them, small pieces of banana and small pieces of boiled chicken. For the cookies, I use the recipe that I found on YT for Leo's Cookies and altered the recipe by substituting peanut butter and some water as needed in place of the carrot baby food. They both go crazy when a new batch is cooking in the oven. |
small pieces of apple (lots of different fruits are a good treat) canned green beans (I give them 1/2's) small pieces of bananna ......... remember grapes are NOT good for dogs!!... |

I had issues too with mine being picky but they really like these two |
my baby can be really picky too i give him real pieces of chicken hot dog and steak and wellness treats and he will do anything for them i recommend trying real meat for training it really works!! and if you heat up the meat 5 seconds in the microwave it makes it even better:D |
Hannah adores the treats made by Zukes. They are made in various flavors like chicken, salmon, peanut butter. |
Maddie LOVES baby carrots, blueberries, greenbeans, and occasionally a little cheese. As for store bought treats, she likes Wellness Bites, they are real meat jerky bites. I also buy Natural Balance Buffalo & Blueberry mini bone treats for her. Good luck on your search. |
Mimi loves Filet Mignon by milkbone, Yogurt drops (yummy), chicken yorkie yummies, Wellness venison and chicken, and fruitables(smells sooo good!) =D |
