Switching from Puppy to Adult Maddy will be a year next month, and I plan on switching her food. She is currently eating Innova Puppy formula, and she doesn't love it. She always just picks and leaves most of it. What good quality adult food would you suggest? Thanks!! :) |
Jackson is 9 months old and I already switched him over to the Innova adult (the larger kibble) which he lovesss. But if she doesn't like the Innova... Jackson loved Before Grain food and the kibbles are pretty small. Jackson loved Wellness too but I switched him off of it 'cause he seemed to be getting terrible eye gunks like never before, however I don't know if the food is to blame or what, but it's stopped since I switched him to Innova. I've also seen/heard of a lot of dogs on here liking Orijen. |
I just want her to like her food. Sometimes she won't eat for days, it seems, except for a bite or two!!!! What about Royal Canin? |
I would try Orijen or TOTW. Both are great foods that seem to be a tasty hit for picky eaters. :D Not sure if either company sends free samples. Orijen Taste Of The Wild Royal Canin isn't the best... |
I had put my dogs on Natural Balance for a short period of time (Chip was allergic), but they LOVED it and would gobble it up. |

My guys love Nature's Variety Instinct (especially the rabbit). They also love TOTW. Both are grain-free. |
Which TOTW formula is ideal?? Thanks! |
I am also in the process of transitioning from puppy food to adult food. I have been feeding my 2 yorkies Science Diet, which I found out is NOT very good (thanks a lot to my vet for recommending it!). There is a good sticky on this site about dog food and a lot of web sites that you can contact for free samples. I currently have about 6 different dog foods at my house because I've gotten free samples. If I find a good one I will let you know, but it will probably take me some time to get through my free samples :) |
