Vaccinations I have 8 almost 6 week old puppies. When do i get them vaccinated?? My vet said not until they are 11 weeks old, but that doesn't seem right to me. When I bought my Yorkie she already had 2 sets of shots and was 8 weeks old. |
I had our puppies done at 8wks & 12wks That is what our vet recommended. |
Eight weeks is the earliest they should get them |

Wow! A vet that has looked at some research!!! :) I'd go with what your vet says. Eleven, fifteen and nineteen weeks would be okay. You just have to be careful about what they are exposed to until the vaccines are finished. |

Maddie's breeder didn't start her shots till 11 weeks, she said that from both past expierence and research that 11 weeks is when their systems best handle vaccines, then again at 15 and I had them done at 19. I am waiting till 7 months to do rabies. |
I have a question about the 1 year shot. Should it be when they turn 1 or 1 year since their last shot? |
