| When my sister got her first yorkie, he didn't eat for 2 days. On the 3rd evening, she was baking a chicken & he decided that THAT would be his first meal...no problem after that! Be patient. How much does your baby weigh? |

| Help with my Yorkie Thank you I will try the bake chicken. I made some white rice for her, waiting for it to cool down to see if she will eat it. My baby (Sweetie) is only 11 weeks. Where I got her from the lady told me she was eating puppy chow. I am trying to give her some but not working. I think I have purchased everything in the Pet Shop. Thank you I will keep you posted to see. Also Sweetie is very smart she is already pottie trained she lets me know when she needs to go outside. |

| Since she is so young and small, I would entice her with some homecooking. Plain chicken with rice, some veggies. Eggs, cottage cheese, etc. Healthy, good foods. Most yorkies LOVE people food. Then you can gradually start adding some good quality kibble or canned dog food and decrease the amount of people food.
