Caesar Milans dog food Has anyone checked it out yet? See they sell it at Petco |
No! But it looks like it will be a good food. The ingredients look good. I can feed it to my dogs because of the chicken!! |
I haven't seen the dog foo yet...is it dry or canned? I did see the bottled water. |
I bought one of his leashes and the toy duck. :D |
He has canned and dry food. I don't know if Petsmart sells it, but, saw they have it at petco. I wish I would have seen that before I switched mine to the solid gold the other day. |
You'll be happy with the Solid Gold, that is what my dog eats and her coat is wonderful. Along with her health. KatM :) |
our petco is dirty. |
I think a lot of petco's are dirty!!!:D:D:D But you would think that a man that knows so much about dog would have a top of the line dog food!!!!!!:D:confused::D:confused: And who knows about the water?:confused::confused: |
I have seen it at Petco before but I don't remember what the ingredients were. P.S. - All the Petco's I have ever been to have been dirty as well, lol :p (yuck!) |

Solid Gold is great!!! You can't go wrong. We only use the dry dog food and have been very happy with it. We also use Blue Buffalo for picky eaters (dry), and have been happy but Prince won't eat the lifesource bits (very hard, round and black) and according to the company rep, contains most of the vitimins. They said without the bits, Blue Buffalo is like any other premium food. |

It's claimed to be an 'organic' dog food. When you read the ingredient list, most everything is organic EXCEPT the #1 ingredient. Though organic chicken is listed as the #1 ingredient, once the water is removed (which it is) it would be much further down the list. This makes chicken meal (not listed as organic) the real #1 ingredient. I personally think it's a little deceptive to plaster the word 'organic' all over the label when it truly isn't. I don't believe the food is certified 'organic' by AAFCO standards. On the Petco site the organic claims they make are on ingredients in the food but not the whole food, and nowhere is AAFCO mentioned. You could probably get a just as high quality brand for a cheaper price or a better food for the same price IMO. |
