| my poor baby! I feel so bad, Sadie is right in the middle of her teething stage and its really bothering her. Today she was just sitting there and started to cry. I freeze her nylabone and washcloths so she can have cold stuff to chew on, but is there anything else I can do? I don't really think there is but I feel so bad for her little teeny mouth! Those teeth are so sharp it has to hurt!

| Hi Sara. When Jo was teething we found it helped to have several toys and nylabones, with different textures and flavors, around for him to chew on. Sometimes he wanted something soft and squishy and other times he wanted a toy that had a hard surface or a rope but he would always search for just the right one. The one he used, and still uses, the most is the bumpy blue nylabone...he's gone through several of those already. Have you found a baby tooth yet? I have a few of Jo's. I think providing him with so many things to chew on helped him lose his puppy teeth and when he got neutered today he only had to have 1 pulled. Good luck! |
