| Cassidy's incision was very bumpy compared to how Desiree's was. Different vets but the new vet used both internal and external stitches. It is now 4 1/2 months since her spay. No way these bumps could still be internal stitches but I think someone did a messy job of stitching her up. Kind of like if a general surgeon stitches you compared to a plastic surgeon? I think it's possible that after the surgeon completes the "procedure" the lesser experienced assistants do the stitches. I will be asking next time she goes to the vet! Since they don't hurt or bother her, I wasn't too concerned but it does bother me.
