| Need help in finding the right shampoo I've been using Hartz Puppy Shampoo on my 6 month yorkie but it seems to be drying her fur. What shampoo is recommended and where can i purchase it. I think my yorkie has a cottony coat but im not too sure it could cause it looks dry and feels dry. Thanks. |

| I had a hard time finding a good shampoo for Pasquale as well. He has cottony dry hair to begin with. But then i tried Mink Sheen....and his hair is sooo soft now! I requested a free sample on their website and they sent me one. Im so glad i gave it a try cause now i'll definitely be buying it.

I have the puppy hartz shampoo as well, and ive noticed the same thing. I have to say that i dont trust hartz products at all, because i have seen their flea products kill cats and small dogs, so its sorta a hard thing for me to get for my dog....my breeder uses mink sheen and i think it is wonderful!!! and it smells really, really good!

| I have good news FINALLY on Lily!! She was EXCELLENT on her plane ride and she is doing WONDERFUL going in her "washable pee pads"!! She has even adjusted to 2 different houses w/pads!! She is 7 months old now. The only thing I still have a horrible time with her is "BRUSHING & COMBING"!! I bath her in the kitchen sink w/sprayer and she isn't too bad but she will bite and carry on when I try to do ANYTHING w/her as far as comb her or brush her!! ANY advice on what kind of brush I could use that she would let me and might feel 1/2 way good to her??? THANKS for any help anyone can give me!! She is being a real good little girl other than that now!!lol She has her spay all over and she eats real good and doesn't get car sick anymore and she even walks on her leash good now!! She has come a long way and so has her "mommy"!!!!LOL |

| RE: Shampoo I love Nature's Specialties Colloidal Oatmeal Shampoo & Rinse. It is concentrated and smells very good. Groomers use it. Not sure where you can buy it, probably an independent pet retailer. I got mine from a store going out of business. All I can say is it really makes Charlie's cotton coat soft and smelling good for days!
