is this normal? i have been feeding milu nature's variety raw diet. she loves it! :D in the beginning i bought her the beef, she got tired of that, so i bought her chicken, she did well on both the beef and the chicken. i gave her lamb yesterday...and she had very runny poop. is this normal? i don't understand why she would have runny poop from eating lamb? i also got her venison, but i was afraid to give that to her. am i doing something wrong? do i need to slowly introduce a new meat to her diet? thank you! :D |
I gave my baby wellness treats that had lamb in them and she had to poop alot after that. It was alittle runny but she just had to go alot. Maybe there is something with the lamb that makes them have to go. |
I just started feeding my two raw and started with the chicken. They did very well but as soon as I introduced the lamb Tucker started having crazy itchies. He's scratching uncontrollably, his left eye is pink and raw and he has two small scabs near his eye from scratching. I've already switched him off of the lamb and back to chicken while Lexie finishes up the rest of the lamb. I just hope he gets back to normal soon. I hate to see him scratch :( Maybe lamb just isn't be best for yorkies... |

If they are having issues on the lamb, don't feed it. You maybe introducing new foods to fast, and it upsets their tummy!? I hope they feel better soon |
Hmmm, I don't know why that would happen as lamb is usually pretty well tolerated - but each dog is different. Since she was just spayed though, her system could be sensitive to any changes right now. Post-surgery, I'd wait at least 3 wks before introducing anything. Venison is a very good one too. :) |
