| Stubborn Allergies Does anyone have a dog with allergies? My poor girl, who is now 7 years old, has been tested and treated with almost everything. Prednisone works some, but she's still very itchy. I feed her Eagle Pack Holistic food and treats, bathe her with hypoallergenic shampoo, dust my house as much as possible and she's still itching and licking her paws. Any help out there?? |

| Welcome to YT When did this start? Had you just changed foods? Do you have an ingredient list for the food you are giving? Where is she scratching? Ears? Chin?

| Here's a link to a site I found that offers some good info.....Dog Allergies and Their Causes They do offer some products for sale but I've never tried any so can't offer an opinion on them. They do discuss many possible causes and some often used remedies and food choices you can make to help your allergic dog. Hope this helps. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My 3 year old Cali has allergies but after all the testing and food elimination diets we could never find out to what. None of the meds worked on her that you mentioned. Someone on here mentioned Atopica and my vet got it for me. It has greatly reduced her scratching to almost nothing. She gets one pill a day and it costs 60.00 for 30 pills but it works. We had hoped to get her to 1 pill every other day but as soon as I dropped her down she started scratching again so I have her back on every day. Her scratching was driving us all crazy so I am so happy she is getting relief.
