Tink loves just the Kong with nothing in it because it bounces so oddly and keeps her busy. But when she was learning to love it, I put Zukes treats in it rolled in a little cream cheese to hold them together. It worked well and there wasn't enough cream cheese to make it messy. She never did like the treats that came with it and I was happy because they are too expensive!

:) lol.. ha ha. That's what I do. I didn't want my pup to get too fat from eating treats all day, so I started to stuff his kong with his regular pup kibble... and Voila! He has a new found love for his puppy food... even though he barely touhes the same exact food in his bowl!!!! Silly puppy!

I also tried Peanut Butter in the kong, but its too messy for me!!!

I've been giving her the kong filled with her dry food capped with peanut butter, it works, she eats the whole thing......and she never eats the same food out of her bowl.I'll keep doing this.:thumbup:

I use frozen peanut butter in my dog's kongs. They love it (alot more than the canned stuff sold by kong).

I got Maddie the peanut butter flavored spread in a can made by Kong. She turned her nose up at it. She didn't like it at all. I returned it right away! She prefers the real peanut butter instead! :)

I know some YTers have put cheerios in their pup's kong and then peanut butter on top to close them in and freeze it. My question is this....does the peanut butter affect your pup's stomach?.....does it make their poop all yucky gooey? I just want to be careful cuz my one lil guy has a very sensitive stomach.

I use dry natural puppy treats, peanut butter and put it in the freezer (for teething), the Kong Puppy sticks and the Kong puppy spray in a can.

Krissie goes through the house with her nose to the ground. You would think that I'm starving her!!

Okay- so great idea on the baby food! I bought some carrot baby food (ingredients: just carrots and water) and put a little in the kong, a few bits of Wall-E's puppy kibble and a tiny bit of low-fat cream cheese on the end for extra flavor... I put it in the freezer to make the liquid solid and he went nuts over it!!!! He licks at it but since its frozen it seems to keep him occupied for a while. Nice suggestion. Thanks!!!!!

We got Chewie a little bitty teething kong and I put baby carrots in it. He loves them to death! I can usually fit 2 skinny ones in there. If he hasn't fished them out in about an hour, I take them out so I dont forget they're in and they start to spoil.
