| Is hair thinning normal with new growth? Hello everyone!! Greetings from Oklahoma. I have a 16 week yorkie female weight,2.2lbs, cute as a bugs ear her name is Tootsie, She looks like her coat is thinning out but I see new hair coming in. Is this normal? When I got her at 12 weeks her coat was thicker. Her overall health elsewise is great though she weighed 1.5 at 12 weeks. Eats well......... |

| I think the reason you thought her hair was thicker before is because of the baby hair which tends to look and feel thicker because it's a bit fuzzy. Her new hair will grow in very nicely and it sounds like she may have a beautiful silky coat!
