| How long can I keep wet food in the fridge? It takes Mia about 2 weeks (mabye even more) to eat a full can of her Canidae wet food. How long do you keep and open can (with lid) of wet food in the fridge until you throw it away?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It seems like about 3-4 days is optimal. I always wonder if you could freeze half?

| WOW! Ok, better throw the can away that's in my fridge. After 3 days, she still has over 3/4 of a can left! I wonder if they make smaller cans of food? I can't imagine throwing that much food away!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Try taking 1/2 out and using it for 3 days - and freeze unused portion.

| I've always heard it's bad to keep any kind of food in a metal can in the fridge. I bought a tupperware container to store mine in. I would think it would last at least a few days longer this way then if it was in the can.

| I freeze by the tablespoon and take out for a couple of days. The food will keep its shape when thawed so portioning is easy.
