ANEURYSM APPOINTMENT WAS TODAY - 22nd

Here are the findings....not so good lol:rolleyes:

Aneurysm appointment -

Left MAIN brain artery 2.5 - 3 x bigger than normal size can't be clipped - when bigger may try surgery in specialist centre Glasgow or Aberdeen, or even outwith Scotland -but likely not worth doing. They are looking at possible specialist centres at the moment.
At present no surgeon in Scotland is willing to touch me as it is just too risky. The specialists (at a big long meeting about me seemingly), said they can't do anything as any attempt at different procedures will reduce blood supply so much to one half or more of the brain, and be far too risky for a bleed, and the likelyhood of death is far too high.
If it pops itself, it will be a huge bleed as it supplies half of brain as it is the biggest artery and at the start, not a branch.
It is located just behind my left ear and in the brain itself.
I have to have another MRI scan in May to see how fast it's growing -at least it will be monitored .....they are scared sh*tless ha ha.
That is nothing new to me with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome:rolleyes:

Debra, you are such a trooper and try to handle this all so well. I know it's not exactly what you hoped for but if they can find you a Dr. and hospital that can deal with this problem it will be good for you. Hold on to that and to tell you not to stress is unbelievable (but I suppose they meant to try your best) You will be in my prayers along with your darling husband and I pray you have better days coming soon.
