Hi everyone!

Just wanted to remind everybody who'd like or be able to attend that the Oklahoma Meetup will be April 29th, at 2 p.m. over at the Hefner Dog Park.

Also I'm going to be picking up some name tags today. Could I get everyone's name and the names of their doggies. . . I'd like to have some already filled out before Saturday comes. Of course even if you don't give your name, and find out you can make it! Please come. . . I'll have name tags to fill out there also, lol.

Also any ideas to make this fun, or volunteers to make this fun, lol, are welcome and appreciated.

Okay everyone, I'm getting concerned about the weather this weekend. I've followed it all week, and from what I gather it's going to be cold and rainy this Saturday.

How about postponing this until the following Saturday: May 6th, same time, same place????

I've also started another thread called Oklahoma Meetup Update asking for pictures of the pups that are going. I'm making little name cards to go on goody bags -- so if you have a favorite pic of your baby email me at: jessicalrisch@sbcglobal.net. If not, no biggy I have a cute Yorkie graphic that I'm putting at the top of those that I don't get pictures for. Just trying to make something cute that everyone can keep (the little card is laminated, and will have a hole for ribbon or a cable tie).

Let me know what ya'll think. I truly think the weather is going to be unfavorable, and I really want this to be a fun experience not a wet one, lol!!

I'll just be there on whatever day everyone decides. This weekend isn't the best for me anyway. Unfortunately nobody seems to remember this thread since it is way the hell down here in regional.

I know, that's the impression I get also is that no one is seeing these threads anymore. One of the reason I went back to the old thread; figured people will have this in their subscribed posts.

I vote for next Saturday to be on the safe side. . .but of course I'll be there either day.

I will not be there next weekend. I have a VERY busy Saturday. The weather does look very questionable this Saturday so I think it is a great idea to postpone. Take lots of pics so we can all see! Have a great time girls (and guys). See you all next time.

Looks like the storms are starting to move in, and the temp. is dropping. Let's reschedule for May 6th, at 2p.m. at Hefner dog park. If someone can't make it; please suggest a time and day so we can get as many people as possible together.

Okay everyone, everything is set to go. . .but Mother Nature has nixed our plans yet again. I went by the park -- it's not raining very hard, but it's horribly muddy.

So, I think we all know what I'm going to say, lol. Let's try for next Saturday, same time, same place. And hopefully for those that couldn't make it for this week, then maybe they can make it next week.

I'm very disappointed; I gave everyone baths and major grooming last night, lol. Oh well, I'll dress them up next week too.

Please guys don't be discouraged we will have this thing if it takes every Saturday in May, lol!

Darn; it seems no weekend is perfect. Have a safe trip, and if we can ever get the first meetup off the ground I'd like to plan another in July. I'll make sure and PM you as well as post when and where.

Okay everyone we've been having some problems with meeting at the Hefner Dog Park. One the weather, and two the kid restriction. Well, 'Katys Mom', Michelle visited and talked to the owners of a new place that would be willing to let us have our meetup there. And everyone who wants to can come!!!

It's called: Top Dog Pet Resort -- their Grand Opening isn't until the 20th, but they are willing to let us have our meetup there this coming Saturday, May 13th!

It's in Norman -- here's the address and directions:

2856 Broce Ct. Norman OK 73072".

Directions:
If you are going south on 35 get off of the Tecumseh exit. You want to stay on the west side of 35 on the access rd. Go past Tecumseh. You will see RSC rental and CCS Christian School, Broce is the road that goes between them. Go down that road go left as the road turns. Top Dog is two buildings South of Fowler.

I think we should do the Meetup here, May 13th @ 2 p.m. Michelle and Katy actually visited there so if she wouldn't mind describing what her and Katy thought about the place, and the different areas they had. . .

I'll also send out PMs to everyone who expressed an interest! What does everyone else think???
