| New to Frisco, Tx Hi, my husband and I just moved from Nashville, TN to Frisco, Tx with our almost 1 year old female Yorkie, Selah. Just wondered if anyone else has encountered a "eating the crickets" problem? Selah loves to chase and eat them. Crickets are everywhere! |

| Welcome to Texas!! I'm in Allen, about 20 miles east of Frisco. Cricket season is just getting ready to start around here. They swarm in the late summer/early fall and yes, they are EVERYWHERE. Sorry, no help in how to get your girl to leave them alone. Fortunately, it's one of the few problems I don't have with mine. Let me know if I can help in finding things in this area. I can recommend an amazing groomer. Very good, very afforadable and her shop is in Frisco! There's a few of us meeting at a doggy daycare on the 25th for a little meet up. It would be fabulous if you could join us. There's a post here, "Got plans for Sept 25" YT member Twalla started it. Or PM me and I'll be glad to give you the details.

| Hi Welcome to Frisco! I also live in Frisco. One of my two Yorkies loves playing with Crickets/anything moving. I had to get Terminex to treat the inside, and outside of my house. That is the only thing I found to help. Sometimes i think its just the fact that they move its fun for her so she will bit and next thing you know she ate it. So just keep an eye out whenever you take her out. |

| Appreciate the feedback! Thanks everyone, for some reason Selah is no longer interested in the crickets...sorta odd but also there's not near as many getting into our home or camping out on our patio and garage. Frisco is certainly a nice area and we are very happy with our move but we miss our family. Thanks again! |

| My Olliepop likes to hide them in his mouth then drop them in my lap. He is such a sweet lil boy We are having a meetup on Saturday in VanAlstyne from 1-4, hopefully it doesnt rain so they furkids can swim. If not, we can play indoors. PM if you want to come and I will give ya directions. Frisco is about 30-45 minutes to VA depending on traffic.

| Welcome to TX! I moved here 2 years ago from MI. I'm in Frisco too. LOVE it here. Fortunately, Diva's not a fan of the large crickets we see here. I've recently learned - not firsthand, fortunately - that snakes are common here so make sure you watch your pup. I now make it a point to scout out the area for Diva when we go out to play in our backyard.
