| I do not know Dr. Kerpsack. I also have not visited the specialty hospital you are referring to. I take Scooter to Brykerwood Vet Clinic but we have never had to see a specialist. I have heard of the Specialty Hospital and it has quite a reputation. They aren't cheap but thier service is supposedly outstanding. I do have friends that have visited the hospital and speak highly about what they do. They have what looks like an incredible facility (I have only driven by it). They are also set up to do all kinds of treatment and rehab (per my friends). I don't know what to tell you as far as which doctor to choose but I do know that the Specialty Hospital here in Austin has an impressive reputation. Which one is closer to your home? That may be a important factor because of follow-up care/rehab. You may also want to check rating sites like Angie's List to find out what other people are saying about the clinics/doctors. Good luck! Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

| I've never gone to that doctor or hospital. When we got Ella, I wanted a vet that would understand you don't treat a 5-pound Yorkie like you do a 50-pound lab. We ended up finding a vet at Griffith Small Animal Hospital, Dr. Miner (they work with bigger dogs, too). She impressed me when she said that after the first year's shots, she titers--it means she tests their blood and only gives them the vaccinations that they need based on the antibodies in their blood. The other vets and vet techs are also really nice.
