Groomers in Albuquerque? I have been away too long. I have been doing it all for my buddy, Bailey. Nails, butt squeezing as needed, bathing, hair cuts, etc. My wife decided he needs to look "Special" for Christmas so I am directed to find a local groomer who will allow me to be present while Bailey is groomed. I will not leave him alone because I am afraid groomers use coercian to get their clients to behave. Bailey is the absolute best. He allows me to do anything without complaining and needs no prodding. So if you know anyone, please shoot me the information. Thanks, Samc & Bailey

Oh... I just remembered that the PETCO on Academy does grooming and I guess you can be with your baby. I don't know how good they are though... I'm the personal groomer of my babies too...

Thanks for the reply. I have used a couple of vets. I go to the Blue Cross Animal Hospital since it is next door to my office and the vet we see (I think) is Baughman, Karol Ann DVM - Blue Cross Animal Clinic (505) 255-5250 1921 Carlisle Blvd Ne, #A, Albuquerque, NM 87110. I also use Dr. Jeff Nichols but he is less convenient being in the North Valley. If you are in that area he is great. I am ok grooming my little boy. I prefer to do it, actually. I brush his teeth most nights before his bed time and am getting him used to PediPaws. So far he is pretty easy as long as he knows he is going to get a cookie afterwards. I give him his haircuts and he is a little trooper. It is a pleasure for me to do it since he is so good. Regards, Sam and Bailey
