No problem!! It's from New Canaan Farms, right? I will be happy to bring you some. Also, Dripping Springs has their own brand of Vodka too....want me to bring you some of that, as well??:D

I'm not much of a vodka person......now if it was rum, I'd be all over it. Yes it is New Canaan. I haven't had it for years, since the last time we were in Dripping Springs. Love that stuff!!!!!

I'm confused....is there a definite date yet? I saw someone mention the 9th. And then a later date, so I'm not sure. If it's the 9th, we can't come. My mom's grand opening for her store is that day, so I've been recruited to help.

no, there isn't a definite date yet. I think the plan is to have it in Waco at the Dogtopia. We are just waiting to hear back from Dogtopia to discuss dates and a time.

ok...thanks. I'll keep checking back for details. Hopefully I'll be able to go & some of us from this area can carpool. There's so many of us, I'm sure we can.

I think once the location, date, and time are set in stone we should start a new thread with that info in the title..so it doesn't get lost since this thread is so long. We can put a link to the new thread in this thread and have this thread closed. I just want this meetup to get noticed by all Texas YTers (and anymore that want to travel to TX)...so we can have a great BIG TX meetup :D

11am is fine with me. We only have about 1.5 hour drive. And after the 15the is fine with me also.

when does A&M start back? I just know we'll need to have this meetup before football season starts up again. Not that I'm a football fan but Cynthia has to work the home games and we don't want to go without her

Aww...thanks for thinking of me, I wasn't even thinking about football season. The first home game is August 30th. So if we can do it the 16th or 23rd, that would be great. The next home game after that is Sept. 20th.

When there is a definite date and time can someone pm me so I can be sure I dont miss it? and as long as I can ride with someone I'll go:p. Otherwise Im completely directionally challenged so Im too much of a pansy to go by myself :D:D:D

I am waiting for a phone call from Dogtopia tomorrow. (Reminds herself to plug in her cell phone.)

When I talk to them, I will suggest the 16th and 23rd. (Have to check and make sure those are Saturdays or Sundays.)

When I have definite info, I will start a new thread titled Central TX August Meetup.

I will post the link on this thread and the other one. And as I have time, I will pm everyone who has posted on either thread with the latest info and link to the new thread.

How's that? Anything else? :)

We can ride together!!! We just need to make sure we take a care large enought to fit the kiddos!!!

That sounds great Judy. And those dates are Saturdays, but Sundays are fine with me also.

Hey Judy, any update on this? I'd love to come, I had to miss out on the last one as Gracie was in the middle of her puppy shots. Would love to meet up with some people who share my obsession. :)

Okay, talked to Amy again (Kim has the day off) and told her about our date and time changes. We're now looking at starting at 11am and Aug. 16th and 23rd if you didn't see that.

She couldn't remember what exactly Kim's questions were, but she did ask how many were local. I told her six or so of those coming, but I wasn't sure.

I did emphasize that this would be good publicity for them since we are an online group and will have pictures posted and everything, so still keep sending positive vibes this way for a good outcome and that they call back tomorrow.

Thanks for keeping us update, Judy! I cant believe they are being so wishy-washy...I don't know why this is so complicated for them :confused: Even if they want to charge some kind of fee..I know we could all contribute something. I know the daycare place here charges $45 for events which isn't much...especially if you divide that amount between all the people coming..it would probably just be a few dollars apiece. And I'm sure we'd shop in their boutique (if they have some good stuff ;)) Hopefully they can give us an answer soon.
