| ![]() Hi All, I had such a great time at our get together for Yorkie Talk Miami people that I thought I would host another get together in September that would be accessable to both Miami & Broward counties. There are several easy access parks that have great ammenities including fenced in areas for our little babies. What do you all think? Maybe we could get together once a month with a different host. I thought it would be fun to start a scrapbook that could be passed from host to host to keep a record & pictures of our get togethers. Give me some input if you would be interested. I'd love to see you all again. Terry & Moxie |

| ![]() Hi Yospa, I was thinking of one a little closer to Broward so that both counties could come. There are several nice bark parks and I would like to check them all out to see what would work out best. Hopefully others will respond and I'll have a better idea of what will work for everyone. It was so nice meeting you and the others also I think as we all get to know each other better we could get more ideas for things to do... like a Halloween dress up LOL! Terry & Moxie PS He still loves the toy you got him :-) |

| ![]() Glad to be getting some response. I will try for a day that will work out for everyone. Sept. 17th will be out because of the AKC Day in Fort Lauderdale, by the way the $10 for micro chipping (thanks Babbi for the heads up) they will be doing is a great deal too bad I will be out of town. I will check out the park in Weston along with a couple of others and let you know where we will be meeting. I will also be providing drinks and a snack for everyone. I will start putting a scrapbook together of our last meet up and will be asking for info on it in the coming weeks. If everyone could go the Photo gallery under YinHeart and identify yourself in the comments under the pictures I took it would greatly help me. Also if everyone who took pics at our last meet up would like them included in the scrapbook send me a copy and I'll include them. I'm really looking forward to seeing you all. Maybe we could come up with some activities or games for the babies to play any suggestions? I also will make Name Tags so we can identify each other easily. Can't wait!!! Terry & Moxie |

| ![]() I went to Weston yesterday and checked out the Bark park, it is very nice but still under construction. The small dog area is finished but the large dog area is still being worked on. I saw some people bringing large dogs into the small dog area and that worried me a bit. I'm going to check out a couple more parks today so I'll keep you all updated on what I find out. | ![]() Today I checked out all the Bark Parks. Some were nice and some not so nice. There is a very nice one in Plantation at the Seminole Park. It has an area for small, med., and large dogs. Very clean and well kept. There is limited seating but they do have some benches (maybe we could bring some folding chairs) I was there at 11:00 AM and there was shade. They also have fountains for dogs & humans ;-) and it's easy to get to. Of all the parks I liked this one and the one in Weston the best. I think the Seminole park is easier to get to for the people coming from Miami. How does Sept. 10th or the 11th sound? Terry & Moxie |
