Am I the furtherest one away? I am outside of Jax 20 minutes from the FL/GA line. Would like to hook up pending how far the drive is.

This doggie park, will there be other dogs there?
I am always afraid of a big dog getting mine?

I'm in Tallahassee, FL and I am a MAYBE. My SO and I share a car and so if I can haggle him into going I'd love to go!!

The beach I have no control of but the dog park has a "big" and "little" dog park. Totally separate.

Paw Park and South Brohard Beach

From what this page says, there is a dog park and a dog beach. The beach is off leash. I think there will be enough of us there to protect each others' pups though

I don't know that I will let Sugar go off leash on the beach. She is a tiny lil thing and I'm an over protective Mommy

This Holiday Inn is in Venice...not sure how far from Brohard Beach. Maybe closer than La Quinta and it got good reviews. I always trust tripadvisor.com

the 2 I looked at charge $100 EACH PET

These look really nice. Rooms are $99 plus a $30 pet fee. They were unable to do a "block rate" at this time but we are welcome to check back in a month or so (

What? How did I not see that..geesh! I'm fine with the La Quinta. The reviews on tripadvisor weren't bad and we'll all be together. I think they have refrigerators in the rooms too. I'll have to google if a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts is close by. I need my strong coffee in the a.m.!

I'll probably come on Sat and stay till Sunday. With school and work I can't commit to more than that. I'll only be bringing Lily too as Max is anti-social. We already got her bikini!

If money isn't an obstacle for people I'm fine with it. I was just trying to keep the costs as low as possible. But it does look like a better location!
