I'm fine with either place..I wouldn't mind staying at a better location though. I'll go with the flow

These are 2 bedroom suites. we can fit 4 people per suite. The cost would be $61.25 (ish) per person. Not as cheap as La Quinta....but very very nice.

4 people but how many beds? Does that mean 2 queen beds?

Well I read more reviews and they are mixed here as well :rolleyes:....:rolleyes::rolleyes: It's difficult to find places that accept pets at a decent rate that are not older.

it was a 2 bedroom so I think it was 4 double beds and a sofa bed.

We cannot merge because I didn't start any/all of the threads. They were all started by separate people. I am trying to post HERE and figured we all can just post a link to this thread when we see people posting elsewhere??? :confused:

The weekend of August 5th has been discussed. That is a Friday so we need to decide on which day or combination of days.

We can start a new thread. Where should we place it? Off Topic? General? Travel?

Or should we keep it here in regional but just under a different heading?

A suggestion...Since this is where the group discussion is taking place, perhaps it would be a good idea to keep the discussion and working on the final details here and when we are more finalized we can make announcements in the other forums and link to this one. That was we can ask if they are interested in the pre-discussion and history or how the meet-up came about they can read through this thread. It does not matter to me and I support whatever decision goes forth and will find and link anywhere it is posted. Perhaps an invite in the other areas is a good idea and link again to this thread to join in discussion of finalizing details. You are very diplomatic and that is really tough in a chat venue. Perhaps we could start a thread with what details we have such as place and date. We could post in the regional forum and title it "RSVP 8/5 Florida meetup". We could have a link to this thread but hopefully that one will be for those of us that are serious about going

I agree. We need to keep an UNCLUTTERED RSVP thread so the info is there and it is clear and concise and easy to find/understand/reply to!
