Any other South Carolina residents around? I'd love to set up a Yorkie meet-up or something. My girl could use a good play romp session.

I'm from Charleston/Mt. Pleasant! I know that's a couple hours north of you but we go to Hilton Head all the time for fun.

Ok, to be honest (lol) I live in Johnson City right now, but I am from Charleston and my husband and I are moving back by October, that's our goal. We've put in lots of resumes for jobs (business mgt for him and petsmart dog trainer for me). Right now I'm a newswriter and love working in the media (that's where my degree is)....so we shall see.

Anyway, we hope to be back soon, and even if we aren't we're in and out of town all the time. So if you want to come to Charleston or vice versa we can set a date etc. Surely there are more SC ppl looking for a fun meetup place, right?

Sure, we'll take a road trip sometime and go see you guys if you want. I'd love to have Rika meet Sully!! Maybe there is somewhere in the middle we could meet?

Hmm.....though that would be nice (and maybe she can, which would rock) Beaufort is nearly 5 hours drive from Asheville.

But Charleston is about a 4 hour drive from Asheville.

Do it, do it! Asheville is only an hour from where I live....and it's beautiful! I'm sure LvMyYorki has some great ideas of things to do, places to meet and let our babies play! :)

We are forming an Eastern N.C. Play Date. Please PM me. We have four YT members that are interested and will be meeting for our first Play Date in August. We would love to have you come join!

We moved to Charleston! :)

Yep, we made our goal. Now we live on the Mt. Pleasant side....right by the Isle of Palms connector bridge. IT'S AWESOME!

So any day you would like to plan a meet up, let's do it!

Are there any other SC yorkietalkers out there?

I am thinking transferring to my company's SC office in Greenville, would love to get more info on this area, ie housing, rentals, difficulty in finding a rental that would take two yorkies until I can purchase, weather, shopping, etc. Average temps, hurricanes? etc. Please PM if you can help.

Currently in Orange County, CA and would love to leave.

Hi there! I'm in Hartsville, a little town just south of the NC border. We're getting a yorkie and a boston in Feb. Once they have all of thier shots we'd love to get in on a play date. My parents have a place on Kiawah Island, right oustide of Chraleston so we could head down that way if people there are interested.

Oh cool, definitely let me know when you come to Charleston. I know where Hartsville is - I have a college friend who used to live there. He moved to Chester.....and then joined the Air Force, moved to Washington DC and now is married and is stationed in Abilene, Texas. :p

Sully would LOVE to meet your new puppies! We're getting a little girl puppy, too. But probably not until March/April.

I've been trying to get a hold of you for some time now. We were in Charleston in December and got REALLY lost. lol It's not that bad of a drive at all. Are you still interested in meeting up?
