| Making New Tabs Good Morning Admin: Just a quick question about making new tabs... I have noticed when posting welcomes to Newbies or birthday greetings that if I make a bunch of new tabs, the process is very slow. (Seems much slower than it used to be before.) The time between making tabs seems to be delayed. I understand about the 30 seconds between posts for welcomes, but was wondering why the tab making is so slow too? (Hope this makes sense.) Thanks for your response.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you mean having multiple browser taps of YT open? Tab speed is often affected by your connection to the internet. As far as YT, it may run a bit slower at times due to traffic. You could try de-fragging your computer and doing disk cleanup too...?

But, not sure what the term defrag means? It is amazing the words you have taught me. At least I know what queue means now.

I just googled for some good instructions...and they all kinda stink. It's really easy to do - but all the directions I found were reallllly wordy. Try this link, and go about 1/2-way down or so - and you'll see a spot where you can 'expand' defrag intstructions, depending on what system you're using (ie, Windows XP, Windows Vista etc). http://www.microsoft.com/atwork/maintenance/speed.aspx I hope this helps .

| Thank you Ann for the instructions. I ran them off and also saved them in my favorites. Time to get busy....
