| Don't Worry! I am not a Vet but it's so common. My previous yorkie had this as does my current baby. The vet will probably want to make sure it is not an ingrown hair or blocked tear duct. My vet recommended I use Baush & Lomb Opcon-A for allergy itchy eyes (yes, people eye drops)....one drop in each eye 2x a day when needed. For really goopy days like spring and fall when the pollen is flying around he gave me Neopolydex Opthal. Suspension one drop 2x a day only when she looks really runny. I also gently clean her eyes once a day with a little water on a tissue and dry it as well as I can. Good luck and always check with your vet first... |

| Ellie's eyes are runny and it makes her hair wet too. Her vet said that her eyes are fine and we should keep the hair trimmed around them and use baby wipes as needed.

| Pretty common. Both of my Yorkies always appeared "greasy" when they were little. As long as its eyes are clear and you are keeping it clean with occasional bathing,,,,, don't worry! It may be just a phase!

| It's pretty common for yorkies' eyes to run, but my vet told me to give Jake distilled water to drink. It has really helped alot!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie has that, Cali doesn't. I thin Pixie's may be because she doesn't have a top knot but bangs that maybe irritating her eyes.

| I also give Charlie distilled water, and not city water which is fluoridated.
