Can eating dog poop make you sick? if you're a dog? I just got out of the shower and my baby Fiona was chewing on a turd like it was gum. I don't know if it was hers or if it was from our roommate's Chihuahua. I don't know how much she ate, but there was not much left. As soon as I caught her, she thought she was in trouble and went and layed in her bed. Now she's sleeping. It doesn't look like she feels good, but maybe she just thinks I'm mad at her. Besides her breath smelling like the bottom of my shoe when I step in dog poo, is this something I should worry about? P.S.- any tips or tricks on making her breath smell good again? dog breath mints make her sick. Thanks =) |
No it wont make her sick unless its a regular habit. I was told its a behavior not because they are lacking something. So they need to be taught its a no no and she should be fine! s far as breath....try baby carrots. |
baby carrots? I will pick some up at the store today! Good, she seems to feel better now, but her breath still stinks. She usually doesn't try to eat it, but our roommate's dog goes in the house sometimes and she takes her sweet time to clean it up. Thanks for your help =) |
your very welcome!;) |
I don't know..........I've never eaten it! :( sorry.......just had to do it!!! :D |

Seriously though, Sissy has vomited once or twice after eating an entire poo of Angel's (gross, I know). For the poopy breath, I immediately use my PetzLife gel. Freshens that breath and kills germs right away. If you have any doggie toothpaste (not human), that will help also. |
Where do they sell PetzLife Gel? |

Kathryn sells it:) |
