| Thanks for bumping this up. It's important information for everyone. I had never heard of AAI until Pippa had some symptoms and Nell and Val (both momma's of yorkie's with AAI) gave me the heads up on this condition and I will be getting Pippa an x-ray ASAP. I am glad to hear about Babybear and hope he continues to improve!

| A Spray??? I think that there is an oatmeal spray that is available. My vet had given some to me before for the Miniature Schnauzer that I used to have.. She was allergic to grass and it was the only thing that would relieve her skin ( RIP.. my little sweetie.... we had her for 16 years... and celebrate the wonderful years that we had with her). A spray would be a lot less messy than any balm... plus it has the benefit of the oatmeal. Take care of that sweet little furbaby.... we will be hoping for a full recovery! |

Use the store brand oatmeal put about a cup into a old clean sock.Tye off sock. Soak in a warm bath with it and you can squeze the sock to get even more out of it. The dr told me this works just as well as Aveeno but not costly. I use it and he was right | |
