| I hope all goes well tomorrow. I have been there. That injection basically "kills" the eye and it shrinks....the good part is that it no longer hurts them. They have to be careful with the dosage as it requires a certain amount and it can have side effects. I have had it done twice without any problems with the kidneys. Thinking good thoughts....

| Eye almost completely healed! Hi Everyone, I know it's been a while but I wanted to share some good news and maybe give some hope for others whose little ones get glaucoma. Her eye pressure is back to normal (at 8) and the doctors aren't concerned at all about pain or any complications. It's amazing considering she spiked to 85 eye pressure at one point. We're scaling back her eye drops and may discontinue if the pressure remains low. We did follow a pretty vigorous eye drop regimen for about a month and almost never missed a dose. Thanks everyone again for the suggestions and the support. |
