My Yorkie, Minnie has IBS....again! Our 4 year old Yorkie girl has had IBD for the longest time. It comes and goes. I am sure her gut is ****ed from all those years of poison we gave her to kill those thread worms. Non the less, she has it. Often we just give her a metranitozole and it clears up. But man, if she is nervous, we shower her, drives car drive, or any disrupt, it comes back. This latest has nothing to do with anything that made her nervous, it just appeared and we're now in our 3rd day. I finally broke down and gave her a metranitozole last night and one today. I'd like to address this with diet. Not keen about canned dog food, but if this will help, I'll do it. I'd appreciate any suggestions as soon as possible. |
It's a life long thing it never goes away it just flares up sometimes. It is caused by food allergys. My girl who has it is on Royal Canin hyperallerginic small breed. |
The best ever food My Prince Charming had multiple problem foods. The vet switched him to science diet i/d. What a difference. Started with canned then switched to dry. Ask your vet if it would help your baby. |
Has this been diagnosed by a scope and biopsy? What has your vet suggested as far as diet goes? My Teddy Bear has IBD and is on Hill's ZD and is doing well. |
Cbd or the hemp can help, its worth a try, I use canna companion and its helped Chesters colitis |
I would try the ZD or similar. But also, is she anxious in general...? IF so, what about trying anti-anxiety meds? |
