| Poor Oliver Has Problems Again It's been a horrible couple of years for poor Oliver. Just when everything was starting to look good, Oliver had a successful second cataract surgery and he was so happy, his darn liver acted up again. His values were way up again and he was put on medication again. Then in the middle of this Oliver fractured his disc and he was having a hard time walking. He cried and panted all night and finally I couldn't take it anymore so three oclock in the morning we drove him to the emergency where the vet gave us the news. He said it wasn't too bad and he put him on rest and pain pills for two weeks. Today he is much better but has a way to go. He's such a good sport though. Thank goodness the pain pills worked and he had a good night's sleep. I hate to see any animal sick but when it's your own it breaks your heart. It's just that Oliver is only a little of 3 years old and he's gone through so much already. Last edited by lexi43; 02-25-2014 at 03:49 PM. |
