Oh you are such a good Mommy, you knew what to do and got him to the ER.. I am sending hugs and prayers for you and little Bear...............good thoughts too.

I hope Bear feels better soon. So sorry to hear about your husband. Cancer is such an awful disease. :( I hope little bear is home soon with you!

Update on Bear
 
Thanks to all of you for being so kind! My little man is at the foot of my bed sound asleep!
I picked him up today after I got home from work. Vet wants me to bring him back tomorrow so the can keep an eye on him. He was able to keep some food down today and they said he did not throw up any more.
I called several times last night and the Tech was wonderful! At one point she said she was just sitting and holding him. She kept talking abot how adorable and sweet he is!
So many of my friends tell me I over react, but pancreatitis is dangerous and I don't want to take any unnecessary chances with him.
Thanks so much for understanding,I am exhausted so I am going to try to get some sleep!

So glad Bear got to come home. I know you will sleep much better knowing he is right next to you and getting better. You are a good Yorkie mom. He sounds like a precious boy. I'm sorry for the loss of your husband.

Glad to hear Bear is better and so glad the vet is keeping a good eye on him through this tough part. I sure hope he is over this episode and back to normal before long. Thanks for the update.

So glad Bear got to come home with his Momma, Will be keeping you both in my prayer's. Sorry you lost your partner at such an early age. But god must of needed him for something special, A big group Hug from every one on Y T. Sending hugs.

Dont ever think you are over reacting....these babies can go down sooooooo fast and get to a point where you cant jerk them back....a tragic often times unnecessary ending that could have possibly been averted if momma would have gone ahead, played it safe and took the pup in. Good job momma....you just ignore your friends and always err on the side of caution! You dont EVER wnat to live the rest of your life thinking if you had only rushed to the vet, the baby may have lived.

I am so glad he is home with you and I will continue to pray for both of you. I agree with YorkieMom1 don't worry about overreacting. They look to us to take care of them and you are a wonderful Mommy:)

I would rather my friends and family think I am overprotective the let my pets suffer. I have seen to many threads where people waited and then were heart broken. You did the right thing.

Good news
 
Bear stayed at the vet's today so they could keep an eye on him.
I was able to pick him up after work today with an "all clear"
So glad he is at home! This house is so empty without him!

I am very happy to have him back home. I guess I never realized how much I talk to him. He probably wishes I would shut up;)

That made me laugh. Made me think my dog probably thinks the same thing and wishes I'd quit loving on her quite so much. LoL. Glad Bear is doing good.

They said he is the only one in the "hospital" at least for now, so he should get plenty of attention. Before I left the tech and vet were loving on him telling him how brave and cute he is. He is such a "ladies man" ;-)

My prayers for little Bear. I know he wants to be home with you. My how a dog can bring so much love and be so missed when they are not with us. I hope he will come home well and feeling good and able to be his happy little self. Bless you for taking such good care of him and for him to be loving you so much! Dogs are awesome!

For everyone that is concerned that other people or even their baby thinks they are "nuts" for carrying on conversations with them, or laughing with them, or running ideas by them for approval, or just snuggling and cuddling and kissing on them.....remember these little angels think they are part of us, and extension of our hearts, and they expect to be treated as one of our birth children, or any other significant other in the home! and they think any other human that thinks we are nuts for sharing our entire lives with them, are missing out on an unconditional love and non judgemental understanding that can only come from these precious little souls! So go ahead and make a fool out of yourself with your little companion....they LOVE it!!!

Crickette looks at me if any of the dogs even try to play or interact with her....she clearly does not know she is a dog, and in fact, she makes it very clear to me, she does not even like dogs!!!! Crickette would be thrilled if I would get rid of all these dogs and it would just be me, her, and my son and his cat Stacie.
