So glad to hear Wylie is feeling better and getting back to his routine! |
Oh my goodness! Poor Wylie!!! I can't believe he's already walking around. Jamie may need LP surgery in the not so far away future, but I know that he could never be on crate lockdown for 6 weeks. He would be MISERABLE. I'm glad to know that there are doctors that are encouraging you to get them up and moving. Give Wylie lots of hugs and puppy kisses from us! |
Wow! Sounds like he has come a long way! What great news! Bless his sweet little heart! |
Hip hip hoooraaayyy!!!! Wylie is on the mend!!! UPRIGHT AND MOBILE!!! Good for him! Give him a kiss on his head for me, and a pat on your own back, for you! |
Yay Wylie! Very happy to hear your excellent progress report! |
I'm just seeing your thread, Ann. I am so thrilled Wylie is doing so well!! Way to go Wylie! |
Wylie I'm so glad the your on the mend and doing well. May God bless you and all the little angels. |
Checking in & see Wylie is doing well after his bilat. LP surgery. He's being very brave if he's up walking & pooping. What a guy! |
Needin' nother pic of the little patient! How is he progressing now? You are going to have to end up tying a 5# dumbell around his neck to keep him slowed down! Way to go, Wylie! |
yeah Wylie, glad he is peg legging it around your house. if you have trouble getting him to keep moving now that he has is appetite, try letting him see you put a treat down in the distance. |
Doin' good today :)! He got his wraps off yesterday afternoon - and the vet said he looks better than most at this stage, so yay! He's still getting used to his balance without those wraps on, but we're so impressed. For now, it's just short little walks to the pee pad and to his food and btwn rooms...otherwise he needs to stay quiet; no jumping, running etcetera. I will post another piccie later today. He says thank you for all the sweet thoughts - it's probably why he's doing so well ! |
Yay Wylie! It is really wonderful that he's recovering so well.... |
I'm glad to hear Wylie is healing... He's a tough one! |
Ann, I completely missed this thread until today! What a week you and Wylie have had! SO glad to see how well he is doing! The Boys and I send all our best thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery to Mr. Wylie! :D Take care! |
So great to hear Wylie's doing so well. Must be because of the great care his mama is giving him! |
So wonderful to hear Wylie is doing so very well!!:) |
I'm a little worried about him today...he was really restless yesterday and seemed like he couldn't get comfortable :(. He's favoring his L leg a bit much too today...so we're taking him in at 9:50 to make sure all is well. Maybe he needs more pain control. For those who've gone thru LP, how long did you use the stronger pain meds? (We're still giving Metacam, but that's an NSAID so...not the greatest of pain meds; he went off the stronger pain med on Friday). |
